Ashley Lytle was born in California but spent most her childhood in Portland, Oregon where she learned to love all things nature. She grew up going on hikes, camping trips, and being surrounded by mountains and trees. She often jokes that growing up somewhere so beautiful and diverse ruined her from settling for anything less.

Ashley was an avid reader as a child, often getting in trouble for reading everywhere, including when walking through a grocery store. She loves all things romance, fantasy, horror, and poetry.

 

She has two dogs—Winter & Whiskey—and a cat, Juniper.
